How to Recover Items from the Backup .pst file ?

We are offering our online data recovery service for damaged PST and OST files conversion and recovery. Orphaned OST file can be converted to PST. Please download the online data recovery assistant to start the recovery. (Recovery Assistant is free software)

First you should create a new Personal Folders (.pst) file entry in your profile and make the new folders structure if needed, then move items from the "Lost And Found" folder to a new .pst  file in your profile to appropriate location in your new Personal Folders file using standard drag method.

How to Create a New Personal Folder (.pst) File in your current profile.

1. Start Outlook with the profile which contains your recovered .pst file(s).
2. Click to the Data File Management at the File menu.
3. Click Add, it will open the New Outlook Data File dialog.
4. Click to select Personal Folders File in the Types of storage box, and then click OK.
5. In the Create or Open Outlook Data File dialog, choose a directory and the file name for your new Personal Folders file, and click Open item.
6. Click OK to confirm.

Now you have a new Personal Folders .pst file in your Outlook profile and you should move the recovered items from the "Lost And Found" folder to your new Personal Folders file. When you have finished moving all items, you may close and remove the Recovered Personal Folders file, including the "Lost And Found" folder, from your profile.

How to Recover Items from the Backup Personal Folders File
NOTE: In some cases the pst file can not be recovered as it should, and it is unable open your original Personal Folders .pst file before you run Inbox Repair Tool. It is highly recommended to create the backup copy of the pst file before the recovery.

When you run Microsoft Outlook Inbox Repair Tool, the option to create a backup of the original Personal Folders file is selected by default. This option creates a copy of pst file on your hard disk called *.bak, and is a copy of the original *.pst file with a different extension. The .bak file is a backup of your original Personal Folders file. You may be able to recover data from the .bak file that Microsoft Inbox Repair Tool could not.

Open Outlook using the profile that contains the your new Personal Folders file, and try to import the "recoveredfile.pst" (it is tha sample name) folder by using the Import And Export Wizard:
1. Click the Import And Export item of  File menu,.
2. Click Import from another program or file, and then choose Next.
3. Click to select Personal Folder File, and then click Next.
4. Under File To Import, type your recoveredfile.pst file name. Under Options, choose Do not import duplicates, and click Next.
5. Click to select the Personal Folders file under Select the folder to import from, and select Include subfolders option, click to select Import folders into the same folder in, click your new Personal Folders file, then click Finish.

NOTE: The backup file was the original corrupted file, and you may find that you cannot recover anything other that what was recovered in the "Lost And Found" folder. If you are unable to import the recoveredfile.pst file to the Outlook, then you have lost all the information that is not in the "Lost And Found" folder.
